On iOs7 keynote- Apple is deluding themselves in saying they are ditching skeumorphic design- they are simply replacing design objects like felt and leather stitching with design objects like sticky notes on a window pane (from the parallax icons over background photo demo). It IS less cluttered, but it needs more work to achieve consistency.
