So, at the Winston-Salem Symphony performance I sat next to a delightful lady who kept her rather large purse in her lap. This enabled her to check her phone, in the bag, periodically as they played the Brahms Requiem, and well as retrieve bubble gum, which she chewed throughout the performance. I was impressed at how quietly she blew her bubbles, although they were large enough that I worried an accident might obstruct my egress. It might have been that her many jangly bracelets drowned out the gun sounds. Like they did the symphony.
