If you are looking to cut the cord, this box (currently $129) is a great way to get all of the local HD channels over the air, and stream them/record them. It received many more local channels than our TV did directly. You need an Amazon account, and a mobile device or TV that can run the FireTV app, or FireTV stick or box to view. Once you pay the $129, the DVR functions are free/no monthly fee, including a program guide.
